When renting through Bartram Lettings you can be assured that your information is safe with us and that as members of the relevant regulatory bodies you finances are protected too.
Information required when considering renting.
If you are interested in renting a property before we agree to a viewing we will email you with the following questions:
The full Name(s) of all occupants
Your address
Your Email Address
Your Mobile Number
On what date do you want to start the tenancy?
We will then arrange for you to view the property, if you are then interested in taking the property we will require that you pay a reservation deposit equivalent to one weeks rent (this will form part of your 5 week deposit when you move in) and will arrange for you to complete on-line a credit reference.
We use a 3rd party referencing company called Vouch (https://www.vouch.co.uk/) to credit check and reference applicants. Their application form to applicants is digital so we do not have visibility of the form fields, only the results once submitted.
You will need a clean credit history and have a combined monthly income of 2.5X the rental amount in order to pass without a guarantor.
Please note, we will not pause marketing until the reservation deposit has been paid and we have received confirmation that the credit reference forms have been completed and returned.
Once we have an acceptable credit refence we will contact you to agree the start date and then draw up the lease and account.
Rent Day. On all our properties the rent day is the 1st of the month, and all leases are for an initial period of 6 months, rolling forward thereafter on a month-by-month basis.
